About Me
This is a bird fountain my grandmother had in her backyard. I thought it was lovely. Hello, I am Ellie, but I am often referred to as Kaze (my online alias). I am seventeen years old as of November 15.

History interests me greatly, particularly WWII and the Renaissance time period.
My passion is art. I love to study the history of art and I love to create my own art. Currently abstract pieces and collages are my obsession.
Music is something that I cannot live without. I am always changing my musical taste, but the current bands that I fancy are The Unicorns, 311, Benny Benassi, Regina Spektor, Kings of Convenience, Rage Against the Machine, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, Cake, The Faint, Sublime, Matisyahu, Daft Punk, Bloodhound Gang, Miyavi, Presidents of the USA, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, Ray Charles, The Shins, The Strokes, Jimi Hendrix, The Proclaimers, The Vines, The Ramones, Goldfrapp, and swing music in general. I am also involved in marching band and concert band and have been in band since sixth grade (though I do not plan to continue playing the flute/piccolo once high school is over).
I'm quite a movie buff. On average, I go to the movies or rent a movie (or watch a movie on HBO/out of private collection) at least 5 days a week. The only movies I refuse to watch are horror films. My favorite movies of the moment are "Amelie", "Garden State", "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "V for Vendetta", "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", "Casanova", "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "Everything is Illuminated", "Elizabethtown", "Donnie Darko", "The Producers", "Eurotrip", and "Moulin Rouge".
I love to read, my favorite books being 1984 by George Orwell and Keeping You a Secret by Julie Ann Peters. Currently I'm reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and it is quickly becoming another favorite.
My favorite anime right now is "NANA". It is one of the best anime series I have ever seen (so far). I have a very modest collection of manga, consisting of D.N.Angel, Jing: King of Bandits, and KareKano.
Feet scare the poo out of me and boredom is my greatest fear. I also am afraid of not having enough time. Friends are what help me get through each day; I owe a great deal to my friends.
I tend to be incredibly sarcastic. Be wary of that; most people don't catch on.
I am not religious. If that bothers you, that sucks, because you are the sort of people that caused me to ditch religion entirely. I really hate people afflicted with close-mindedness.
